Kutna Hora, Czech

Kutna Hora is a Bohemian city (now Czech republic) outside of Praque in the Central Bohemian region.  It was once the most financial city in Czech.  The silver mines were there and brought much wealth to the area. All of the Money was minted in Kutna Hora using the silver from the mines . There is a great tour that you can take there that takes you through the old mint and explains what it was like in those days in Kutna Hora and what the paintings are about in the mint.  Also on display are some of the original coins that were minted there.
There is a church there that was originaly built in the 1300's by the miners in that district at the time.
As well as the elaborate Cathedral of Our Lady
