Edinburgh Scotland

We have arrived back to the South of UK from our travels in the North of the United Kingdom where we toured to Scotland and Wales and loved every minute of it.  The people are fantastic and the scenery is breath-taking - a trip we will always remember

The photos below have all been taken in Edinburgh.  Our accommodation was in a hotel in the old city area central to tours and restaurants, we especially enjoyed its old world charm with its archways and narrow walkways and stairs. We took a tour on the Red Bus (hop on hop off at any stop along the way) to get our bearings, visited Edinburgh Castle, ate at great restaurants in the Grass Markets just 2 blocks from our accommodation and visited the Royal Botanical Gardens.  The Botanical Gardens had the largest number of glasshouse I have ever seen with all interconnecting so was a continuous amazement - I have entered just a couple of the orchards they had there but have hundreds of photos as the range was so extensive.

Our accommodation was between 2 archways
